You should possess excellent organizational skills and a strong commitment to customer service and safety. Candidates must be able to work with minimal supervision, learn quickly, and possess excellent problem-solving skills.

Qualifications:
Education: Bachelors, Masters, or equivalent degree in a Science-related field.Experience: 3 5 years in the industry, with a focus on asbestos, lead, indoor air quality, and mold/moisture inspections. Phase I ESA experience is a plus.Skills: Excellent communication, client management, and proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel. Spoken proficiency in Spanish preferred.Certifications:Asbestos: NC/ SC/ TN/ VA/ GA Asbestos Inspector / NC Supervising Air Monitor / NC & SC Management Planner licenses or ability to obtain.Lead: NC & SC Lead Inspector/Assessor licenses or ability to obtain.Additional certifications like CHMM, 40 Hour HAZWOPER, 10/30 Hour Construction Safety and CIE/CMI are desirable but not required.
Other Requirements: Mastery of the English language written and spoken.Valid drivers license.Reliable transportation.Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 20 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.Ability to occasionally work at heights greater than 6 feet (examples: ladders, rooftops, man-lifts, scaffolding).Ability to occasionally work in confined spaces (examples: crawlspaces, attics).Ability to frequently reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Must be able to walk up/down multiple flights of stairs.Ability to complete all mandatory trainings, including safety training.Availability for off-hour emergency work.Respond as a member of the Hillmann 24-hour disaster response team.

Responsibilities:
Maintain certifications and licenses.Respond to client emergencies as needed.Conduct thorough investigations related to Industrial Hygiene, including indoor air quality, mold/moisture inspections, asbestos surveys, and lead-based paint inspections.Develop remediation plans, report findings, and ensure compliance with industry guidelines.Perform air, surface, and water sampling according to USEPA, OSHA, NIOSH, and industry analytical methods.Perform employee exposure monitoring for various environmental hazards.Conduct employee noise exposure assessments and monitoring.Execute Phase I Environmental Site Assessments and other environmental hazard evaluations.Other responsibilities as dictated.
