Advanced Field Service Engr, Technical Resource Manager (Finance)



Position Overview:

We are seeking a Lead Advanced Field Service Engineer (Technical Resource Manager) to serve as an operational energy specialist for a major federal or military base. This individual will be responsible for overseeing, analyzing, and optimizing the consumption of key utilities-including electricity, natural gas, water, and steam-across the base's infrastructure.

The role involves utilizing building integrator systems to monitor and manage tens of thousands of data points related to energy performance, working closely with internal stakeholders and third-party contractors to ensure efficient operations and adherence to energy conservation protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Energy Monitoring & Analysis:
    • Oversee and analyze real-time and historical data from building automation and energy management systems.
    • Monitor required utility meters (electricity, gas, water, btu) across the base for anomalies and inefficiencies.
    • Interpret data from electronic sources and supplement with manual field observations as needed.
  • System Integration & Management:
    • Leverage building integrator systems to manage and extract performance data for equipment and resources.
    • Coordinate with third-party service providers for regular equipment performance checks and maintenance evaluations.
  • Energy Efficiency & Control Measures:
    • Identify and implement energy control measures (ECMs) and conservation opportunities across facilities.
    • Conduct audits of building systems and services to assess operational efficiency and compliance.
    • Cross-reference energy usage data with equipment service records and operational metrics.
  • Reporting & Documentation:
    • Compile and generate a comprehensive Annual Energy Report summarizing energy usage, system performance, cost savings, and ECMs.
    • Ensure accurate documentation of energy consumption trends, audit findings, and recommendations.
  • Stakeholder Engagement:
    • Act as the primary technical point of contact for all energy-related inquiries and reporting to base leadership.
    • Collaborate with on-base personnel, contractors, and federal agencies to implement energy strategies.

They will also serve as the main technical contact for energy management and collaborate with various stakeholders to drive energy efficiency across the base.YOU MUST HAVE

  • Certified Energy Technician (CET) certification.
  • 5+ years of experience in energy management, building operations, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of utility systems: electric, water, gas, and steam.
  • Experience working with Building Automation Systems (BAS) and Energy Management Control Systems (EMCS).
  • Proficiency in analyzing large data sets from multiple systems.
  • Excellent technical writing and reporting skills.
