Manufacturing Team Lead (Finance)



We are excited to welcome a Manufacturing Team Lead to our Delphos, OH facility! Join us in our mission to rid the world of rubber waste!

Hours: Mon-Thu (4:30pm - 3:00am), overtime may be required on Fridays

Pay Range: $22 - $27/hr, based on experience

Job Summary:

The Team Lead operates machinery and assists the department supervisor with additional duties, providing basic oversight during off-shifts or when the supervisor is unavailable. This role ensures adherence to daily work instructions, guides employees, oversees on-the-job training, assigns tasks, and handles emergencies within their scope of responsibility.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Oversee production quality to meet standards and schedules; ensure operators are working efficiently and in accordance to SOP's
  • Monitor production of work ensuring materials and finished goods meet established quality standards
  • Partner with supervisor to coordinate production schedules, ensure needed materials are available, oversee inventory, communicate shift updates, and resolve issues
  • Promote a safe work environment and report incidents or rule violations
  • Ensure timely completion of OJT checklists and monitor ERP transactions
  • Reassign staff as needed to support production flow
  • Drive problem-solving and support lean process improvements

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

  • High School Diploma/GED required
  • 1+ years of manufacturing experience; Machine operator experience required
  • 1+ years of forklift and bucket truck experience
  • Proven ability to multitask in a stressful environment (dirty, confined spaces, strict timelines, etc.) and adapt to changing demands
  • Previous leadership experience preferred
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Proficient with computers; Epicor experience a plus
  • Basic knowledge of safety and HR policies; Must be safety conscious and carry out work responsibilities in a safe manner
  • Must be able to work overtime to meet operational requirements
