Sr Process Safety Mangement Engineer (Finance)



As the Senior Process Safety Management Engineer here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and reliability of our processes. You will be responsible for developing and implementing process safety management systems, conducting risk assessments, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance safety performance across our operations.

Your expertise will drive efficiency, cost savings, and regulatory adherence. You will report directly to our Engineering Manager and you'll work out of our Geismar, Louisiana location, on site.YOU MUST HAVE

• Bachelor's degree in chemical or mechanical engineering or 10+ years' experience relevant experience in a chemical manufacturing plant in lieu of bachelor's degree.
• 6+ years of experience in process safety management or related roles.
• Experience with all elements of process safety management.
• Process engineering experience in the Oil, Gas, or Chemical industry.
• In-depth knowledge of process safety regulations and best practices.
• Proficiency in conducting risk assessments and safety audits, and familiarity with safety management systems.

WE VALUE

• Advanced degree in Engineering or a related field.
• Experience in leading process hazard analysis studies.
• Professional Engineering license (PE).
• Experience with Relief and Blowdown calculations.
• Experience in leading process safety initiatives in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and implement comprehensive process safety management systems that align with industry standards and regulations.
• Conduct risk assessments and safety audits to identify and mitigate potential hazards, providing engineering solutions and preventive measures.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication and training on process safety matters.
